In 2007, Ashton teamed up with the renowned Cuban-born tobacco expert Don Jose Pepin Garcia to create San Cristobal cigars. These cigars are the result of their combined efforts and Garcias exceptional blending skills. The blend consists entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco, including a dark and oily wrapper, well-aged binder, and long-filler tobaccos. Despite being full-bodied, San Cristobal cigars are exceptionally smooth, providing a profoundly complex flavor profile that includes notes of chocolate, nuts, espresso, earth, and cedar. The Cuban-style triple cap adds to the expert construction of these cigars.
