Crafted as a 100% Nicaraguan puro, Profundo features a wrapper, binder, and filler all sourced from Nicaragua. While officially described as medium-full, its intensity leans closer to a full-bodied experience. This strength comes from the meticulous fermentation process led by Fernandez, particularly evident in the dark Oscuro wrapper. The slow, extended fermentation coaxes out a deeper color, richer oils, and a heightened aromatic profile.
