Q. What is different about Tobaccoonline.co.uk and why should I purchase online?

Q. Is selling cigarettes online and shipping the cigarettes through international mail legal?
A. It is legal within the conditions of the international postal regulations and standards, which we fully comply by.
Q. How are legitimate cigarettes sold at such low costs?
A. Our prices meet those of duty free prices because we work within the same process. Our items are not subjected to duty tax because they are sent directly from the manufacturer to the Duty Free Zone, a legal trading zone, from which they are than sold to you. Therefore our prices are cheaper than your local retail price.
Q. What happens if the product hits the market?
A. If the value exceeds a certain amount, usually around $25 to $50 in the US, the cigarettes are subjected to tax.
Q. Do duty taxes always apply to imported cigarettes?
A. As long as only one carton of cigarettes (200 cigarettes) is imported, you are not subjected to duty tax. In order to ensure that no duty taxes are applied, we ship out each carton separately to our customers.
Q. After placing my order, when can I expect the cigarettes to arrive?
A. It takes anywhere between 10 – 21 days up to 30 Days to receive your order. This mainly depends on your location. If you have placed an order that contains more than one carton, though all cartons are shipped out on the same day, they may arrive on different days within the 10 to 21 day time period.
Q. By which mail courier are the cigarettes shipped?
A. 1) Cigarettes, Tobacco and Zippo Lighters are shipped via Air Mail and therefore you may receive your order either to your address or to your local post office (depending on the services provided by your local post office). If the package has arrived to your local post office, they will inform you to collect your parcel at no additional cost.
2) Cigars-are being shipped via private courier- packages may be tracked online- recipient must sign for it upon delivery.
3) Liquor- is being shipped via Registered mail- recipient must sign for it upon delivery.
Q. How does the shipment of each carton separately effect the time of arrival?
A. Though your entire order is shipped out on the same day, because each carton is packaged separately, there may be more than one arrival day but within the 10 to 21 time period.
Q. Why aren’t all the cartons shipped together in one package?
A. Each carton is shipped separately so that the value and weight of each package does not exceed the international guidelines.
Q. How can I be assured that no damage will be caused to the package during shipment?
A. We have taken measures to ensure that you will receive your package without any damage to the cigarettes. The 10 packs of 20 cigarettes each (one carton) are packaged within a custom made box and sealed in a plastic shrink cover that was designed to protect the package during shipment.
Q. Can you guarantee that I will not be subjected to duty tax?
A. There may be cases in some countries that the international postal regulations and standards do not apply. It is the client's responsibility to check the rules and regulation in his region.
Q. Is there anything I can do if I am subjected to duty tax and have already received my order?
A. If this does occur (not likely in the U.S.), you can either pay the duty tax and receive your cigarettes or reject the shipment and return it to us, in which case you will be reimbursed for the entire amount of your order. All return shipping costs will be covered by us. We do advise you to take into consideration that even if you are subjected to duty tax, the total price will still be considerably lower than your local retail price.
Q. If I am charged duty tax and reject the package, will I immediately receive a refund?
A. We will reimburse you for the entire order amount when the package has been returned and received in our warehouse.
Q. What is the Credit Card ID?
A. The card ID (as shown in the pictures below) is a 3 digit security code that is printed on the back of your credit card. The card ID protects you from online fraud by verifying that you are in possession of the card you are attempting to use.
Q. How am I ensured that the information I place over the internet is secure?
A. We can assure our customers that only the most advanced technology in internet security is used on our site. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) secures data on TCP/IP networks such as the internet, through encryption, authentication, and integrity for all communications between our consumers and the web server.
Q. Is my information saved on a database and does this include my credit card information?
A. In order to ensure that your order is processed and you receive quality service, we do keep customer information on our database solely for these reasons. Credit card information is deleted from our database 30 days after your order has been placed. This is to allow refunds in those cases where one is required. We guarantee that no information is shared with any third party. We take all measures to protect our database and our customer’s confidentiality.
Q. What if the brand of cigarettes I am interested in is not listed as one of the options?
A. Here at Tobaccoonline.co.uk we always do our best to provide the products that our customers desire. Therefore, if you can’t find the brand you’re looking for, please e-mail us and we will look into supplying your preferred brand of cigarettes.
